What the numbers mean
Short links / month
Your monthly budget. Example: Starter allows 24,000 successful short links per month. Usage resets each month from your plan start date. If you hit the cap, new requests wait until the next period or an upgrade.
Links max per API request
How many short links one API call can create. Example: with a max of 25, asking for 25 is OK; asking for 26 is rejected. Need more? Send another request.
Links / minute
How fast you can generate. Example: 100 links / minute means across all your requests in any 60-second window, you can create up to 100 links total. This protects the service from spikes.
API key
No account login. After you choose a plan and contact us, we email you a secret key (tr_live_…). You send it as Authorization: Bearer … on every request. Keep it private.
Free website tool vs paid API: the free generator on the homepage is for manual use in the browser (up to 10 links per request, fair-use speed). Paid plans give you a key, higher batch sizes, monthly quotas, and server-to-server access.
API frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account or log in?
No. There is no customer dashboard login. After you choose a plan and contact us, we email you an API key. You use that key in your requests.
How do I get an API key?
Pick a plan, then
email us with your email, plan name, and payment details. We create the key and reply with the key, limits, and expiry. Keep the key secret.
How is the paid API different from the free website tool?
The free tool on the homepage is for manual browser use (up to 10 links per request, fair-use speed). The paid API gives you a key, higher batch sizes, monthly quotas, usage checks, and server-to-server access. See

Can I change plan or get custom limits?
Yes. Email us to upgrade, renew, or request Unlimited / custom caps. We’ll update your key’s limits and expiry.
