These Terms govern your use of DotGLinks (the website, free generator, and API). By using the service, you agree to them. DotGLinks is not affiliated with Google.

Service

DotGLinks helps you generate trusted short links that redirect to destination URLs you provide. Links are provided as-is. We don’t control destination sites or guarantee uninterrupted service, availability, or specific performance.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the destination URLs you submit (including any UTM or tracking parameters), for how short links are used, and for complying with applicable laws and any third-party terms (including Google’s where relevant). We do not endorse or verify destination content.

Acceptable use

You may not use DotGLinks for malware, phishing, fraud, spam, harassment, or any illegal activity. You may not attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse infrastructure, scrape the service excessively, or interfere with other users. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that threatens the service or violates these Terms.

Fair-use limits (free generator)

The free tool is subject to fair-use limits to keep the service stable. Currently, each request may create up to 10 links, and each IP may generate up to 30 links per minute. Limits may change. Exceeding them may temporarily block further requests.

History on your device

Recent generations shown under History stay in your browser only. We don’t store your generated link list on our servers. Clearing history removes it from that device.

API terms

Paid API access (including Starter, Growth, Scale, and Unlimited plans described on the API pricing page) is subject to these additional terms:

Access. API use requires credentials we issue (such as an API key). You must keep keys confidential and are responsible for activity under your keys. Contact us to start, change, or cancel a plan.

Plan limits. Each plan includes monthly link caps, per-request maximums, and rate limits as listed on the pricing page (or as agreed in writing for Unlimited/custom plans). Unused monthly allowance does not roll over unless we agree otherwise. Exceeding limits may result in throttling, rejected requests, or suspension until the next period or an upgrade.

Acceptable API use. The same acceptable-use rules apply to API traffic. You may not resell raw access in a way that circumvents plan limits, or use the API to generate links for prohibited content.

Billing & changes. Plan fees are charged as stated at purchase or as agreed by email. We may update plan features or prices with notice for renewals. Custom Unlimited terms are confirmed in writing before activation.

No warranty. API output and uptime are provided as-is. We are not liable for destination sites, third-party link providers, or losses from downtime, rate limits, or link behavior beyond our reasonable control.

Termination. We may suspend or terminate API access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse. You may stop using the API at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable unless required by law or agreed in writing.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DotGLinks and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, short links, or destination sites. The service may change or be discontinued at any time.
